Him "leaving" EXO was one of the most devastating and heart crushing experiences for me. Believe it or not I couldn't even scroll down my dashboard on tumblr, without shedding a tear at every post about him. Yeah, I guess i'm crazy but Kris on showtime has gotten me through some really tough times. It was so nice to just take a break from reality and just laugh. What hurt me most was that the fandom was falling apart too. At first everyone was so supportive and I felt encouraged by all the people, even not in our fandom supporting us. At that moment, we were really one. Soon enough like now, we are so divided, some of us hate Kris and think he's selfish and some of us are just hurt and defending all the people back lashing Kris.
This fandom was never perfect, honestly we were the most criticized fandom in all of kpop. Many people have left us for another, while saying that ours was too much drama. Through it all we were so tough and fought through to support EXO. Why is it that one thing can split us apart so easily? To me,OT12 or OT11 I will still be there. The members would be disappointed to see half of our fandom split only because of Kris.
Kris is not blameless, it's a fact he has probably hurt the members and hurt us fans. I do not support him leaving right before the concert and the fact that he did not tell any of us. It is hard but we must all move on, I don't like how people are still criticizing him for doing so. When the article of him working with the chinese director came out today all the negativity received was not expected to me. A lot of people think he left just to "fulfill his own selfish ambition" but you don't know so. I honestly think that he might have been working with the director when he was in EXO then after he left the director released this news. At the same time I admit I also don't know what's going on in his life. Why are we letting our confusion and hurt get to our heads and making us criticize him so.
What i'm not that keen on accepting is people saying that he was always the lazy member with no talent and that he did not deserve to win so many awards with his team and experience the debut with them. He's experienced just as much as the rest of the team so why shouldn't he deserve what the others experience. Even if being an idol was not his dream like some of the other members, he still pursued it and pushed for the job, it's even harder working for something you don't love than what you do.
Overall, I am quite disappointed with Kris but I think everyone should just move on from this experience and not to hold it against him. As humans we should forgive another one of us for making mistakes. No matter how big they are. Also I hope the fandom sticks together and forms an even stronger bond during this trial.
